The Pricing Paradox.
Markets stop functioning when prices rise because no one is selling.
A market that gains value on declining participation is not recovering. It is becoming brittle. When the All-Share Index climbs while trading volume drops by sixty percent, the price discovery mechanism is broken.
This creates a trap for new capital. Issuers cannot price new entries against a secondary market where the price is driven by a shrinking pool of active shares. The nominal record is now a map of currency debasement rather than industrial growth.
Local capital has sought refuge in large-cap equities to escape currency volatility. This creates a vacuum of activity. The resulting high valuations lack the depth to support significant entry or exit.
Investors must discount nominal growth by the volume-weighted average. Reassess exit liquidity for large positions now. A rally without volume is a exit ramp that has been narrowed to a tightrope.
True value requires the friction of high-volume disagreement between buyers and sellers.
